I Keep On Falling

I found another card that intimidates me! Accidents!
How do you express you care without being too cute or too insensitive?
This is for my friend Sarah, who was in a car accident not too long ago.
Although she did not have to go to the hospital, her car is totaled
and she is still in a tremendous amount of pain.  The images I had were a
little too cutsey for the look I was going for.  I was trying to
find something that would be perfect for her.  Her last home
was decorated in lots of reds and Toile, so I thought the paper
was perfect.  Then I saw this image I had downloaded
awhile ago from TLC and thought that they complimented
one another nicely.  I just did not want her to think I was
minimizing her accident or the pain that she is in.

I put Diamond Glaze on the shoes and
paper pieced the dress

To accept this award I have to do a few things:
A.Please link back to the one who gave you this award and say thanks
I'll say it again, Thank You Yenni!

B. Write 3 sweet moments happened in your life
#1 I found this kitten that I was all set to bring home, but was waiting
for my husband to come get me.  When he arrived he said "Is this the
cat you want?" I replied "Yes, this is the one!"  He then said "No!"
I was crushed and walked so fast he could not catch up to me.
Then when we got to the car, there sat a kitten that he had looked
for all day to surprise me!!! Awwww!!  He was quickly forgiven!

#2 On Our 15th Wedding Anniversary we gave each other
15 gifts.  Most of them small gifts.  He had mine all wrapped
and pretty with little bows on them! (He even wrapped them himself)

#3 I mentioned on someone's blog ( I won't mention Yenni's name... lol!)
that I loved her lace, and she sent me a wonderful package of gorgeous lace!

Good morning, Stacey!
I think, you did very well: the black card base tells her, that you don´t minimize anything - it looks quite serious - but the picture is lovely, and so is the black/white patterned paper. The touch of "red" is also perfect to cheer it up a little... I think, she´ll love it!
IMO you made a perfect card for this situation!
Have a nice week!
Hugs, Uli
Today I´m still at home - waiting for the chimneysweeper... I hope he´ll come soon...

Hi Stacey-
I'm so glad you've joined our challenge this week at Sugar Creek Hollow. Your card is charming with that adorable image and so creativehow you used it on a get well card. I love the touch of paper piecing you did-it's so effective here. The inside of this card is just as beautiful as the outside with that gorgeous toile paper. I do hope you'll join us again in the SCH challenges.
