Color Inspiration

The Challenge this week at Dutch Dare is
using one of these beautiful Color Inspirations.
Please join us this week!

I had help with the design of this card. I was having
serious Mojo issues and nothing was working. I have a gazillion unused Nestie shapes trying to make something work. I went to my favorite list hoping to find some inspiration and found this beautiful card by Cheryl from She Stamps. It worked perfectly!
Thank You Cheryl! The only problem when I case
a card, is I love everything about it, I case the whole card! (Cheryl's card below)

Not A Traditional Sympathy Card

**For my blogoversary giveaway
please go here**

The challenge this week
at Dutch Dare is Clean & Simple
If you are like me, that is a challenge because
I love layers, and lots of lace and lots
embellishments.  I held back as much as I could.
Please join us this week and show us
your version of Clean and Simple.

Sympathy cards are very difficult to make.
I had a bunch to make so in  order not to get
too hung up on it, I found if I either went for what paper I was in the mood for, or what style I
knew the recipient liked, I was able to keep going.
I know it is not traditional, but, I get stuck
if I think about it too much. I apologize if it is offensive. I always try to make my cards respectful
for the occasion and the person receiving them.
I have received comments about my color choices
not being appropriate for sympathy cards
 again, I apologize!

I saw this card a few months ago, on Fiona's
blog and fell in love with it, so I had to
 case this beauty.

Tagged!

This week at Dutch Dare is winged things!
That can be many things.
A bird, a plane... (superman does not have wings, sorry), but butterflies and other insects
do.  You get the picture. Come join us
this week with anything with wings.

I needed to make a very quick sympathy
card and remembered I had these
pre-made card bases from K&Co.
This tag was perfect! I also had a
scrapbook kit in the same pattern with
paper and embellishments.
This was one of those cards that
came together nicely and I am actually
pleased with the results!
Love when that happens!!
 Side View
Love that ribbon, but it was difficult
to work with!! I fiddled with both
bows FOREVER and still was not able
to get it quite right! It is the same
brand I often used, but this color
must be a different fabric.
