Go For The Gold

This week at Dutch Dare is Fancy Fold
So I chose to do another explosion box.
The possibilities of fancy folds, are endless.
Do join us in the fun this week!

I do love these boxes!
They make the perfect gift for special occasions.
This was for a couple who were celebrating their
50th wedding anniversary. (Hence all the gold)
50 years definitely deserves something special!

Meanwhile these are the measurements I used

Middle layer- 4 1/2" Square- scored at 1" on all 4 sides
Top layer- 3 1/2" Square- scored at 1" on all 4 sides
This is the tutorial I used on making the box

I'm back :)
Those gold doilies and frames are marvellous, brings Louis XIV into my mind, ah, those were the days!
You have decorated 8 sides and the lid, plus the cake. Amazing job, Stacey! This is not the first time when I say about details, and definitely not the last, I'm sure, but those details are so delicate and stunning. A treasure this is!!!
