Spring Is In The Air

I had 3 get well cards to make, so these cards from K & Co. made the
perfect base to make some pretty but quick cards.
This is for a friend who had knee surgery.  I have 2 more of these
cards that will pop up sometime soon. We are in the middle of spring
here in North Carolina, but are now in a cold spell with a bit of rain.
So this card is the perfect color combo to cheer one up.
At least it does for me!

Close up of Medallion- I chalked it to give it a more off white look
It is also close enough to show one of the pearls fell off!- oops!

Stacey this is very pretty. The colors are very soothing. It looks like the colors came right out of that room. I like your decorating the inside of the cards, too. Hugs, dj

I almost missed this post. DOn't know how but anyway, alls well that ends well. It came out real pretty. I love that pink and cream ribbon! You've GOT to get that back if the recipient is a "keep the card for one week then toss" person!
I too wouldn't have noticed the missing pearl if you didn't say so. So thanks! I love to see other people's defects! lol
Overall, it came out real nice!

Hi Stacey!
How are you? I´m so sorry that I missed your post! I´m kind of overchanrged these days for several reasons - but I hope to be "the old Uli" again soon :-)
Yes, spring is in the air and your card is really lovely! You used all colors that reminds me of spring - pink for the blossoms, green for all the new green after the winter and blue for the lovely warm air and blue sky in spring...
You did a very good job with this card!
Big hugs, Uli
