Butterfly Kisses

The challenge this week at Dutch Dare is
One Color (Monochromatic)
So please join us this week!
I went over Dorcas last week to craft, and was a bit frustrated, because I arrived late in the afternoon, which is usually when our Mojo is just kicking in. We wasted no time, pulled out the chocolate & got to work. I had the sketch below and the color challenge
in mind and went to work. Since I am pretty literal, the sketch came out exact. Paper and all! That is not required, but I had it. Since this card is due this week and not last week, I missed both challenges. Oops! Did not think that one through! They are both great and they helped me kick in the mojo and feel accomplished. This card is for my Brother and Sister In-Law. I am still late, but only a week this time! (Actually, I made it on their Anniversary,
just have not sent it yet!)
These Butterflies by Martha Stewart are my new
favorites! Love them! They are so elegant.  I often say
to my self (Yes I talk to myself, Don't judge me! LOL!) Martha has enough money, you don't need to keep buying her stuff." Then she comes out with gorgeousness like this and (other goodies that will be in my next post), and I quickly hand her some more of my money. She is a smart lady, that Martha!

I finally acquired some of the Nesties on my very long list. Some of them were gifts from my husband for our
20th Anniversary and some of them were gifts from me. Just because...
Anyway is this the Fleur De Lis Motifs & I am excited I finally got to play with it! The 2nd layer is actually 2 layers of paper with the decoration alternating.

Oh, Stacey, I LOVE your cards - they always look like taken from a treasure chest or if they were from the estate of Sheherezade with all that gems and pearls... this is so my style - love it!!!

Stacey, there are so many beautiful details not sure where to start.
When I was a kid, one of my very favourite dresses was excact THIS colour of blue (ok, can't be THAT certain, but near enuf) and it had white butterflies. Probably you guess the rest: I love this card!

Those pearls and gems and all the details inside makes me wondering how patient and skilled you are.

It is SO wrong all these companies make wonderful new products all the time. Isn't it great! :D

btw, it would be lovely if you could send me your proper mail addy for the "Pay Forward" thingy ;)

Love everything about this card Stacey, I have the same papers, they are beautiful. Don't know what else to say, it's brilliant! as they say in good old Lancashire. lol

By the way, I agree about Martha Stewart, she definitely has enough of my money too, but her stuff is so fab, her punches are the best!

Anyway, have a wonderful day,
Luv, Babs
