Thinking Of You

I made this card for a friend that lost her dog of 15 years
around the same time I lost my Cody Cat.  I understand
her pain and wanted her to know I have been thinking
about her.  Even though it been a couple of months,
when they have been a part of your life that long, it still hurts.
I also made this card for the
Verve Sketches for the month of February.
This is the first sketch.  I did them out of order because
I had a serious mental block with this one.  It is a great
sketch, but I could not get it to work.   So I tried
another idea, and could not get it to work either, so I went
back to this and wola! It worked.! I think it was the pressure
of having to finish it.  I seem to work well under pressure!

The medallion is a Martha Stewart tag with a punch out
of the paper.  This paper pack is cool because it
came with lots of matching paper, stickers, tags, letters,
& chipboard! It will be awesome to scrapbook with.

Stacey, your card is beautiful. I really like the colors you used. The round circle punch is pretty, what is that one? Is it a nestibility? You really do a great job on this type of card. Did you have to do a card for Dutch Dare this week? Oh, by the way congratulations on becoming a DT there. Hugs, dj
