Party Time

It has been exactly one month since my last post. Did you miss me? Better yet are you sick of seeing my last post? I am!!!! I went out of town earlier in the month, and came down with the flu, and have been a bit wiped out since. I took a break from blogging, just couldn't wrap my head head around anything else. I  am so easily distracted, so I had to use my energy on other things.  So anyway, hopefully I will post a bit more regularly. Please forgive me for not stopping by I have neglected that too. I will be by shortly though. I have been peeking at everyone's awesome projects, Just did not have much energy to comment.

In the summer and often the kid's winter break, I throw a party of some sort for the girls in our congregation, before they go back to school. This winter I got brave and had a slumber party. We had nine girls! There was pizza, dancing, games and lots of fun! It was loud, but lots of fun. Anyway, these are the invitations.  It is a bit of work, but doing it assembly line style, it goes pretty quick.

This is laying them all out, then I attached everything all at once.

Mt attempt at darker skin. Still working on that one.

 All of them completed
The Inside

You obviously enjoy a challenge, and I don't just mean having 9 girls for a sleep over! Making all those identical cards was also quite an undertaking and one which paid off. They look amazing, I love the image you chose, the colours are great as are your bows.

Thank you for sharing your creations with us at Crafty Boots Challenges.

WOW, Stacey. This batch of cards must have taken a while to do! Those were the days when my daughter had a slumber party with a few of her friends - we only had two stop over at a time though. No room for more!
Isn't that image of Mo's just perfect? I am sure the girls all loved their cards too. Brilliant!

Stacey, I am sorry you were so ill, and felt 'out of it' for a while. (Sometimes, we need a break from blogging, too)

I love that you had a slumber party for all those girls, and that is the NICEST slumber party invite I've ever seen!
