My First...

This is my first card using my sewing machine.
A little rough, but I am getting the hang of it!
I am also using my first Digi image.
The image is by Elizabeth O. Dulemba.
I rarely use images
because I don't color well.  So Dorcas gave me
a lesson with Prisma Pencils.  Another first.
I will keep working at that one.

A close up of the stitching and mistakes with my shading!

More stitching.  White is hard to see

Inside

Will be used for a baby card

Quotation on inside

Supplies Used:

Cardstock: Blue and Green Bazzill
Misc. Gingham Paper
Buttons from my stash
Ribbon: Checks, Dots, & Dashes
Flowers: Recollections
Digi Image: Elizabeth O. Dulemba
Pencils: Prisma w/ goo gone

I waited too long and missed 2 of the challenges I made this card for,
but found plenty it qualified for.

The Paper Players: Anything Goes
Stampin' for the Weekend: Anything Goes (Digi or stamped image)
Stamps R Us: Stitches
Bee Crafty: Anything Goes (Digi)
Cooking It Up With Katie: Boy, Gingham, Touch of Brown
Charisma Cardz: Hot Hot Hot (Summer)
Pixie Dust Studio: Stitch It Up

Stacey, isn't it funny how Dorcas is getting us to get involved with all sort of things? lol.

Now you are using digs, stiches, colouring...

Isn't this GRRRREAT! About colouring, good beutiful to me. It all begins from the first step. Or in this case pencil :D (at the moment I'm frozen, so to speak, standards are sooo high. I need Dorcas take my hand and guide me too!!!) <3

I love the corners and colours, too.

I think you stitching looks great, and a wonderful job on the colouring. I used Dorcas' tutorial and it's helped me colour better too...not Dorcas level of course lol. Keep thinking of having a go stitching too, I look the way it looks on a card. Thinking of trying with my daughters little mini machine though, can't bare the thought out getting mine out and setting it up for one card project lol.....not enough room to leave it out :(

WOW! You color well!! I dont know what you're complaining about!! I need to get myself some colored pencils and start doing that. The sewing is awesome too! I've seen a lot of people sewing on scrapbook pages and always wanted to try it!! Maybe a sewing machine from a yard sale would suffice......good job.
