Thanks A Latte

Well as promised, a upbeat Thank You card
for another very sweet friend.  Have I mentioned that
I have awesome friends? Very supportive in my time
of need.  This is for my friend Holly who also has
been there for me through, tears, blubbering, and crazy!
I think my friends need more than a card for putting up
with me!! 5 of my friends have taken me out to lunch
and shopping to get me up, dressed and out of the
house.  My husband was very grateful for this as well.
(Hence all the thank you's) Holly was one of my friends
that took me out. We had a great day.
I am very broke, and gained some weight that week,
but it was very special to have friends that care so much
and want to spend time with you no matter what
state of mind you are in.
Now my friends will be wanting to take me
to the gym next! LOL!

This image reminded me of her and our girls
day out!
Close up of bow and sentiment

With this post and the next two I will share some funny things
these girls find that remind them of me.  For Holly it has something
to do with chocolate.  She finds funny sayings or a picture or
sometimes just chocolate.   We both LOVE it, maybe too much.
You will be hearing more about my addiction to chocolate!
She got me this wonderful book a while back.
It has all kinds of fun facts and recipes.
It is full of awesome quotes like:

Chocolate is the answer. Who cares what the question is!

Exercise is a dirty word.
Every time I hear it I wash my mouth out with chocolate!

Put "eat chocolate" at the top of your list of things to do today.
That way at least you will get one thing done!

So there could be worse things to be known for.
Well... there is... I'll post them in the next two!

Almost forgot the ingredients to my card!

I LOVE these colours! Seriously, so fun and zingy and vibrant and warm - just like your friends :)
It's real nice of you to make thank you cards for them - believe, it is very much appreciated!
And don't even get me started with chocolate and gym issues...I'm currently trying to avoid the mirrors!!

Hope you are feeling better, Stacey...friends are one of the most special seems as though they understand us better than anyone else!
Your card is fabulous, I'm sure that Holly will really enjoy receiving this. I can see a bit of Dorcas influence in the coloring...well done!

Stacey, I'm sure she'll love her card, especially as you referred to one of her other loves (without all the additives, though lol). The colors are gorgeous and really are cheerful. You did a great job! Hugs, dj

What a sweet card! There is nothing like girlfriends to keep one grounded! Your post reminds me of the saying about a woman only being as strong as the coffee she drink, the hairspray she uses and the girlfriends she has! :) Such pretty colors you have chosen and love the bling! Thanks for playing along @ SSD!
